Situated
on upper Main Street in Edgartown in a recently remodeled building. As you enter
from the back parking lot, a bright open dining room beckons you in. Exposed beams
and a vaulted ceiling define the space, while a selection of seascapes and pastoral
scenes by local artist, Rebecca Miller, lend a colorful touch to crisp white walls.
Cherry brown slatted chairs add a rustic element to the clean airy space. If you
choose, have a drink at the cozy bar located in an alcove to the left of the entrance.
Bar patrons are often joined beneath hanging stemmed glassware by a solo diner
from the Clarion Inn hotel next door.
The staff
is welcoming and attentive. The kitchen, which is on view from the dining room,
prides itself on being accommodating. "If I can do it, I will," says
Saccoccia who is on hand in the kitchen every night. The Grill's wine list is
very comprehensive, with many affordable wines available by either the glass or
bottle.

Since
opening its doors in 2003, the Grill on Main has quickly become a favorite with
locals and tourists alike. Owner/chef Tony Saccoccia, formerly of Feasts of Chilmark,
describes the cuisine as New England-American. The Grill features uncomplicated
delectable fare with a good selection of seafood along with succulent grilled
meats. view
